To mark the end of the NBA Championship, Louis Vuitton unveiled the LV x NBA menswear capsule collection designed by Virgil Abloh.
About the company's first and so far only partnership Louis Vuitton with the National Basketball Association became known back in January 2020. At the same time, they also announced that Virgil Abloh would be working on the LV x NBA collection.

Interest in the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the NBA skyrocketed after images of one of the shoe models, light brown suede boots, were leaked to the Web late last month. Now, to mark the end of the championship, the entire collection has been officially presented and will soon be on sale.
LV x NBA includes a variety of items, including bags, shoes, and jewelry in the form of massive gold chains and rhinestone chains - all with the NBA logo, which in some cases has become part of an unusual pattern. The collection is divided into three parts - travel, for everyday wear; game arrival, which includes leather jackets, monogrammed jeans and t-shirts; press conference, which includes items with a more individual design.
In addition to the NBA logo, there are other references to the world of basketball. Like prints inspired by the lines of a basketball or side pockets on bags that are reminiscent of nets on a basketball hoop. Naturally, such well-recognized LV prints were also actively used. In some cases, very unusual combinations turned out, in the spirit of Virgil Abloh.
All items in the collection will go on sale on November 20th and will be available in a limited edition.
