German brand Puma, specializing in the production of sportswear and footwear, has announced the release of a new model of sneakers in collaboration with Ferrari.
The Ferrari ION F Sneakers were created by designers based on the well-recognized silhouettes of the SF90 Stradale supercar. The company proudly noted that the design of the new sneaker was inspired by the aerodynamics and power of cars with the “Prancing Horse” image, which ultimately led to the creation of a “sublime” design. Featuring Puma branding on the outsole and Ferrari branding on the soft knit sock.
Sneakers, in addition to the ultra-modern “racing” design, are distinguished by a premium magnetic lock with technical tape and a reflective panel made of polyurethane foam stylized as a spoiler.
The sneakers come in signature red and black. The model also symbolizes the connection between the ideal lines of Ferrari sports cars and the human anatomy. Thus, sports shoes, a supercar and the curves of the human body turn into a kind of robotic image.
It is already known that the new model will go on sale in Puma retail stores, and will also be sold in Ferrari showrooms for $450. The sneakers will also be part of the new Puma collection, which will be presented this summer.
