The German research institute GfK conducted an analysis of the national brands of 50 countries of the world.
The result was the Anholt-GfK Roper Nation Brands Index, which ranked countries by their reputation in the international community.
The features of management within the state, the investment climate, the relationship between the state and the population, the attitude of other countries to a particular country were taken into account. A total of six criteria were taken into account.
Based on them, a rating was compiled, in which the United States took the first place. In 2014, this place belonged to Germany, which went down one notch this year. Followed by the UK, France and Canada.
Russia took the 22nd position, which improved last year's result by three points. It is noted that Russia is one of the strongest "cultural brands".
