Japanese Investment Banking Company Nomura released forecasts today, according to which, Samsung overtake Nokia on the smartphone market this month. Moreover, the Finnish company will move not to the second, but even to the third place.
Second place will go to Apple. We emphasize that we are talking about the smartphone market, and not mobile phones in general. And then, after a few more months, things will go even worse for the Finns - they will be pushed out even from the third place, which will go to NTS.
Similar predictions have been made before. No one doubts that the loss of first place for Nokia is just a matter of time. It's just that the timing is different.
The company simply has nothing to present. Abandoning Symbian, but have not yet managed to create anything on the base Windows phone, the Finnish company put itself in a not the best position. And analysts are confident that in the near future reports Nokia will contain only losses. The advent of smartphones WP (and they should be expected no earlier than the end of this year) again does not mean an automatic return to the leaders. Moreover, the slightest mistake in this field can lead to a complete collapse.
