Samsung introduced a new line of Galaxy S23 smartphones, which are expected to compete with the iPhone 14. The new devices are available in Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender colors.
The line includes three smartphones, the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, equipped with a Qualcomm chip. According to the company, the new devices are, on average, 35% faster and 40% more efficient than the previous series. Samsung is positioning its smartphones as "a premium experience and revolutionary artificial intelligence.
The retail price of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 in the U.S. will be $799; the S23+ model will cost $999, and the top-of-the-line S23 Ultra will cost $1299. The latter is the most powerful smartphone in Samsung's history, with a 5.8-inch or 173-mm screen diagonal. The phone also has an enhanced 200MP adaptive camera.
Based on artificial intelligence, the new camera's image processing algorithm can optimize photo quality by adjusting several critical parameters. In addition, the camera allows you to shoot in RAW and JPEG formats in a digital SLR camera style.
The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a 5000 mAh battery and support for new features for mobile gaming. Among the exclusive features of the smartphone are an improved version of the contract and background adjustment depending on the light.
In the U.S. and several other countries, retail sales of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones will start on February 17.
