To present its new Galaxy Z Fold2 5G foldable smartphone, the company held a virtual event of a new format.
Even the inability to hold large-scale presentations of new products in the face of the need to maintain social distancing cannot stop big brands. Thus, the Swedish division of Samsung organized an unusual event in order to draw attention to the new foldable model Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, the cost of which is about $2000.
The event, dubbed Samsung Live, was broadcast live on September 18, the day the smartphone went on sale, and explored the possibilities of interactive shopping and virtual engagement with interested shoppers. Participated in the broadcast Samsung representatives and guest experts who interacted virtually with viewers and communicated with home audiences in real time.
Similarly, the company explored the process of virtual shopping and the possibility of its live broadcast. Such a sales channel offers much more opportunities than conventional online shopping and can become a new direction, which will be developed by leading manufacturers. Moreover, in connection with the pandemic, it is in the direction of innovative online technologies that the attention of both brands and buyers will most likely be directed.
The virtual event was co-organized by Swedish video streaming technology company Bambuser and marketing agency Relatable.
