Slogan: Supporting the art of imaging-making
Japanese manufacturer of accessories for photo and video equipment. He is best known for his tripods and monopods. They are created mainly for professionals and advanced users.
The history of the company dates back to 1948, when Japanese engineer Takatoshi Shiraishi began assembling tripods of his own design. At first he collected them himself, by hand. Later, with the development of the business, Shirasi founded the company SLICK Elevator Tripod Co., Ltd. - 1952. After 11 years, the name was simplified to SLIK Tripod Co., Ltd.
Things were getting better and better. In 1972, an independent division was even allocated SLICK Tripod Sales Co., Ltd., which was exclusively engaged in sales and promotion of products, the range of which was increasing. However, this state of affairs did not last long - in 1989, both companies again merge into one, forming a modern SLIK Corporation.
The company now produces both metal tripods (aluminum, steel or complex alloys) and lightweight carbon fiber solutions. The company's products have won numerous awards.
Headquarters SLIK Corporation located in the suburbs of Tokyo, Japan (Tokio, Japan). Factories are present in several countries of the Asian region.
