Management Volkswagen adopted a rule that workers at different levels will receive email messages on their smartphones no earlier than 30 minutes before the start of the shift and no later than 30 minutes after it ends. This is the demand of the union.
The innovation will affect more than 1000 employees of the company who use smartphones as their main working tool blackberry. Previously, their duties included virtually round-the-clock presence in communication, a message could come at any time of the day or night. It is no coincidence that in the company's corporate jargon, devices blackberry began to be called nothing but crackberry.
However, it was emphasized that the innovation will not affect management and top managers. But they have different working conditions, respectively.
It is likely that similar innovations will soon appear in other German companies.
