The innovative new model goes on sale for $190.
The American manufacturer and retailer of sportswear Under Armour introduced the shoes of the future for training. The UA SlipSpeed Convertible Heel features an innovative heel and is geared toward athletes of all kinds, as well as everyday wear.
The model is an innovative sneaker that can redefine the future of sports. The SlipSpeed can adapt to a person's needs in any situation, from on-court training to heavy gym workouts.
"The transformative nature of SlipSpeed allows... a quicker transition to rest mode with literally one simple step. After any grueling workout, an athlete can step over and flatten the back of the sneaker to transition from workout to rest in seconds," Under Armour noted.
The sneaker's innovative design allows you to wear it all day long without taking it off. In addition to the transforming heel, the model features the signature UA Flow outsole, Iso-Chill technology to keep you cool and the BOA Fit System to tighten and loosen the shoe automatically.
The release of the new pair of UA SlipSpeed Convertible Heel was commented on by multiple Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps, "When I got my first pair of UA SlipSpeed™, I was thrilled to have shoes in which I could go from a hard workout in the gym to running errands with my kids without having to bring another pair of shoes with me."
