American streetwear brand Supreme has announced the release of a special capsule collection, created in partnership with the music group Massive Attack.
The designers who worked on the collection drew inspiration from the musicians' cult album Mezzanine. The items included in the capsule collection are decorated with the famous bug print, which flaunts on the cover of the third studio album of the Bristol trio Massive Attack, released in 1998. The disc is considered one of the most successful in the history of trip-hop, songs from the album are heard in many American and British films. Mezzanine is one of the UK's Top 10 Greatest Albums of Music as well as the Top 500 Greatest Albums by Rolling Stone magazine.

For fans of musicians, Supreme offers t-shirts, shorts and short-sleeve shirts with laconic designs. All items presented in the collection are made in three colors - white, black and blue.
Thus, Massive Attack joins a long list of cult groups that have influenced the work of one of the most popular fashion brands. In past years, Supreme has also partnered with My Bloody Valentine, The Smiths and The Velvet Underground to release special collections, and last year marked the creation of a clothing line featuring prints by the late Silverchair frontman Daniel Jones.
The streetwear brand also regularly collaborates with other clothing manufacturers. Supreme's most successful collaborations include Nike/Air Jordan, Vans, Clarks, The North Face, Hanes, Playboy, Levi's, Timberland, Comme des Garcons and Stone Island.
