It all started on June 1, 2004, when the company Electronic Systems Alkotel (founded in 1993 in St. Petersburg) introduced a new brand of consumer electronics. The teXet brand came to replace the Alkotel brand, which was eventually abandoned.
The first products presented under the teXet brand were wired and wireless DECT-phones, which were assembled by Chinese OEM manufacturers. In the same year, the official website of the brand was launched.
In 2005, it was decided to expand the range to include MP3 players (today, the models produced under this brand are among the most popular in Russia). Later, other products were added, for example, GPS-navigators in 2009, and cell phones - in 2010.

Today teXet phones (both DECT and smartphones running Android), e-books, tablets, players, video recorders, GPS navigators and digital photo frames. It should be noted that DECT-phones are still one of the key products of the company - there are a variety of models with different functionality and appearance. These devices still account for the largest part of the company's sales.
Over the years, the brand's products have won quite prestigious awards and prizes several times. It is distributed mainly through large federal chains (like Eldorado, Euroset or Tekhnosila) and is quite popular among consumers in Russia and Ukraine.

Hi! When I came across this site I was happy at first. But what I miss is the evaluation of the brand (maybe its position in the ratings). For example, Texet. How many I have faced with the products of this brand so I have negative emotions. Products of low quality!!! But the brand description gives the impression that this is a very "nice" company. The only pole is the cheapness.
We try to write as neutrally as possible without expressing our own preferences. But at the moment we are thinking about a rating that our readers could do.
Normal quality, I have a tablet of this brand. It's quite satisfying.
