The first Black Series collection is a premium apparel with technological materials.

American outdoor brand The North Face, specializing in the production of technological sportswear and travel equipment, announced the launch of a new Black Series fashion line. Together with an earlier collaboration with French luxury brand Maison Margiela, which will be presented at Paris Fashion Week, this is another important step for The North Face in the direction of designer fashion.
The first Black Series collection is a premium apparel featuring the most technologically advanced designs and materials, including waterproof Futurelight fabric. Tim Hamilton, head of global creative at North Face, is behind the creation of a brand new product for the brand. It is he who took the initiative to create a collection with a main focus on high design, which, at the same time, will reflect the innovative capabilities and heritage of the brand. The company reports that the Black Series line includes both purely feminine and ultra-feminine silhouettes, as well as masculine and gender-neutral models.

“With the Black Series, we have taken the next step in The North Face's evolution as a brand that dares to push the boundaries of innovation to create a timeless design that can be worn for a lifetime,” commented Hamilton. “For the concept of this collection, we took inspiration from The North Face’s archive library, choosing mountain-born styles and crafting the cleanest silhouettes of all time.”
It is known that the debut collection of the brand from the Black Series premium line will be available to members of The North Face VIPeak Rewards program from February 25, 2020 in the online store and in separate brand locations. Global sales of new products will start on February 26. The cost of clothes from the new line will start from $60 and reach $1500.
