The TikTok platform has announced the launch of an unusual pilot program that will help video creators and everyone who wants to independently find job offers from major brands and companies. We are talking about a variety of specialties, it is not limited only to proposals for advertising.
To participate in the program, the user must demonstrate their skills and creativity in the video, and then tag the content with the hashtag #TikTokResumes. TikTok invites users to be creative in turning their paper resume into a video. For example, the architect is invited to demonstrate the process of creating the design of a project and the final result of the work, and the project manager is asked to show the diagrams with which he organizes the processes.
Companies such as target, Shopify, elf Beauty, Chipotle, Abercrombie & Fitch, NASCAR and a number of others. Some of them are interested in advertising on the platform, but a number of companies are looking for people for permanent work in this way. The list of brands that will consider such resumes will not change during the pilot program. However, with the successful implementation of the "pilot", users can expect the expansion of this direction with an increased number of brands.

Also, applicants will be able to find job advertisements and fill out a questionnaire in response to the selected offer, attaching a link to the video. You can submit resumes to several companies at the same time, and users can also create several resumes - for each vacancy separately. After receiving a resume, companies go through the traditional selection process and may invite the candidate they like for an interview.
With the new program, TikTok plans to simplify the relationship between advertisers and content creators as much as possible. Thus, both brands and users of the social network will be more interested in interaction and this will attract additional funds and resources to TikTok advertising.
At the moment, resume submission is limited only to job offers in the United States, and the deadline for submitting them is July 31.
