Well-known Taiwanese manufacturer (full name - Topower Computer Industrial Co., Ltd.) power supply units (PSU - Power Supply Unit) for computer systems of various types - from simple desktops to extremely sophisticated multiprocessor and gaming systems. The manufacturer is also engaged in the creation of ready-made computers, servers, cases and racks for servers, accompanying components and accessories.
The company was founded in 1986. Its founder (and later president) was Kent Chou. Initially To power dealt exclusively with power supplies. What has succeeded - its products are well-deserved respect. The company's PSU uses many of its own patented designs that make these products unique in their own way. But to achieve this, I had to try hard.
In 1989, Topower begins deliveries of its products to the United States, a year later opening its branch in Los Angeles (Los Angeles, USA) - Topower Computer USA Inc. In 1998, the same fate befell the Japanese market. But on the territory of the former USSR, the company's products are known to few; in most cases, people who constantly and professionally work with computer hardware.
Since 1996, Topower has been gradually expanding its range of products. But the main direction remains the production of PSU.
The company's headquarters is located in Taipei, Taiwan (Taipei, Taiwan). Production facilities are partly located in China.
