Despite the fact that the famous Swiss tennis player signed a contract with UNIQLO back in 2018, the release of branded items was delayed due to a lawsuit.
Prior to partnering with the Japanese casual clothing supplier, Roger Federer worked with Nike. After the contract was completed and the tennis player became the face of another brand, he was forced to start legal proceedings to regain the rights to the RF logo.
Immediately after the conclusion of the contract with UNIQLO, the tennis player lamented that Nike retained the rights to the RF logo. But he was optimistic and stated that he would definitely return it to himself, because "it is important for him and for his fans." It should be noted here that Federer did not completely break with Nike, because UNIQLO does not manufacture tennis shoes.
And now it became known that after two whole years, Federer managed to defend his rights. The consequence of this was the appearance of the first thing on which the logo of a tennis player was applied - a baseball cap. It has a classic design and will be available in 8 colors personally chosen by Federer. The famous RF logo is applied to the front of the baseball cap, ROGER and UNIQLO branding adorn the back.
The first caps with the RF logo from UNIQLO will be available on December 8th at a price of $19. It will be possible to purchase them exclusively in branded outlets, as well as the company's online store. According to the tennis player himself, this headdress means a lot to him. Surely it is no less valuable to fans of Federer.
