Japanese retailer Billy's Tokyo has teamed up with Vans to celebrate the year of the Rabbit with an unusual capsule collection. The line, marked with themed touches, includes Slip-On and DIY HI VLT LX models.
The Slip-Ons sneakers come in three colorways - green, red, and black. The traditional checkered pattern combines black and white rabbits stylized as yin and yang. The insole and lining are red to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The sole remains all-white, and the Vans logo is emblazoned on the heel.
The DIY HI VLT LX model reflects the "Make Your Own Design" concept. Combining elements of the Vans Sk8-Hi and Half Cab, it comes complete with Velcro fasteners to create new looks.
The new sneakers from the Vault x Vans collection will go on sale in the Japanese market starting January 1, 2022. The Slip-On will retail for $90 and the DIY HI VLT LX for $196.
