Slogan: See the difference
The history of this very well-known manufacturer of various visualization devices, such as monitors, projectors, television panels and mobile devices such as laptops, book readers and wireless monitors, began with a small company that was originally engaged in distribution activities, introducing computer peripherals to the US market. Keypoint Technology Corporation was rebuilt in 1987. It was founded by a citizen of the United States and a native of Taiwan, James Chu.
Brand ViewSonic was born in 1990. Under it, the company began producing color computer monitors. Creating a logo featuring three rainbow-colored finches (their full name sounds like Amadina Gulda, по латыни — Chloebia gouldiae), Chu wanted to emphasize that the technique he presented is capable of conveying the naturalness and brightness of the whole variety of colors of nature. The brand name is made up of View — "view, view" и Sonic — "sound, sound". As if a hint that our paints sound. By the way, in some Asian countries ViewSonic known by the slang name "Three Birds".
Success in the monitor market has had two consequences. First, the company has focused entirely on imaging devices. And secondly, it was decided to name the whole company by the name of the brand.
