Russian retailer X5, which owns Karusel hypermarkets, Perekrestok supermarkets and the Pyaterochka chain of stores, said that the virtual mobile operator that it supported would cease to exist.
The history of Allyo began in April 2010, when X5 entered into an agreement with a mobile operator MTCwho was in charge of communication. The idea was that through a virtual cellular operator, the retailer could better promote various loyalty programs among its regular customers. It was planned that in the first year it would be possible to connect at least 200,000 subscribers. By 2013, their number should have reached 500 thousand people.
How many in the end managed to recruit subscribers, not reported. But apparently not much, since the activities of "Allyo" are being curtailed. At the same time, for those who already use the services of this operator, nothing will change. Simply, new subscribers will no longer be connected.
