The VisionVenture camper is an example of how, with the right approach, you can beautifully fit a lot in a small space.
At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, dedicated to campers, the German company Erwin Hymer Group presented a vision of what mobile homes can become in the near future. The concept developed by her is not only very beautiful, but also extremely functional.
built on Mercedes chassisThe VisionVenture inside looks more like a high-end apartment than a typical camper. In its interior, “warm” bamboo, gray felt and leather are actively used; the combination of various materials adds coziness and looks very fresh, this is not an ordinary camper with a traditional familiar and dull design. At the same time, the developers used literally every square centimeter of space.
The living area is located at the rear and includes two white sofas and a folding dining table. Large side windows and a panoramic rear window allow you to dine or spend your leisure time admiring the surroundings. And if you open the back door and raise the rear window, then you will have something like a small open veranda. On which there was a place for a retractable electric grill.
The camper's bedroom is foldable - in order to settle down for the night, you need to raise the roof and there will be room enough for two people in sleeping bags, and even with a large window. To climb to the “second floor”, an illuminated staircase is used, located immediately behind the living area, which also acts as a closet. Directly under the stairs there was a place for a kitchen with a built-in hob, sink and refrigerator. And opposite it is a bathroom with a toilet and a washbasin, which can be removed by moving the walls and opening up space for a shower cabin.
So far, VisionVenture is just a concept, you should not expect such a camper to appear on sale in the near future. But he perfectly demonstrates in which direction this technique is developing and how you can place an almost full-fledged apartment in a tiny space with the right approach.
