The leading Russian search engine Yandex plans to sell the popular Yandex.Money service. Moreover, according to some reports, there are already interested buyers, the deal can be completed before the end of next year.
Today "Yandex.Money" is considered one of the largest electronic payment systems in Runet. By the beginning of this year, 9 million users were registered in it, who carry out about 100,000 transactions every day. The system is popular as a way to pay for remote services; many large online stores are happy to accept payments through it.
How much Yandex expects to receive for its service is still unknown. Experts suggest that its cost is at least 200 million US dollars.
