At the beginning of the 21st century, yoga classes in the CIS countries have outgrown the stage of just a fashionable hobby, turning into a real lifestyle. Much more information has become available, special studio centers have appeared in which anyone can devote themselves to yoga. The leading such studio in Ukraine is YOGA-studio.
And it all started in 2002 as a mailing list "Yoga and more", which was led by Alena and Sergey Gruzdev. Somewhat later, they also created a simple website, which hosted only the most necessary and interesting information. This resource quickly became a place where the Ukrainian audience of yoga fans began to flock. It was then that it became clear that this audience was in dire need of various information, which was still sorely lacking. Thus, an agreement was concluded with Andrei Sidersky, according to which he undertook the creation of various video materials and lessons, for the implementation of which the Gruzdevs were responsible. We can say that it was then that the project was born, which will later be called YOGA.
Further more. It soon became necessary to create a printed publication. This is how the magazine was born. "YOGA. Journal of Slavic Zen", the first issue of which was published in July 2005.

The first yoga studio where people could come and practice yoga was opened in December 2005. It was then that the idea of creating YogaShops — a store where you could buy special literature and video materials, as well as various accessories necessary for yoga, such as mats and special clothes. Much of this was self-created. All this marked the final formation and birth of the project. YOGA, which included YogaShop, and a newsletter, and a magazine, and everything else.
The main development of the studio began on August 1, 2007, when it moved to a new location (the studio is still located at this address) and Tatyana Dolgova became the executive director. Presently YOGA-studio can offer its clients three large halls for classes, one VIP room, as well as a lounge area with light melodious music, exclusive cocktails and snacks prepared according to its own unique recipes.
