The change in the identity of the photobank, developed by the creative agency CREVV, was the first in a decade.
Popular photobank Depositphotos announced a significant update to its own identity. In particular, the platform received a new logo, a new font was specially designed and updated colors were chosen. The corporate identity of the project was developed by the creative agency CREVV.
The main colors of the Depositphotos base blocks have become black and white, they will be used for all the main visual elements. As for the visual elements of communication with users, a bright palette of colors will be used in contrast.
For convenience and aesthetics, designers have developed sets of three matching shades. Such sets include all the variety of colors and will be used by the platform designers to create page layouts, advertising messages, etc. Such an abundance of color solutions expresses the diversity, creativity and bold ideas of the authors of the works posted in the photo stock.
The new logo is a simplified and dynamic symbol of geometric shapes, which emphasizes the modernity of the company's approach. It resembles the shape of the camera lens that served as the old photo stock logo, as well as the lowercase letter "d". In addition, the name was also redrawn in a more up-to-date and easier-to-read style, while retaining the unusual style of the letter “h”.
A new font was also developed especially for Depositphotos, which is presented in the main, more traditional, and four, rather unusual, additional variants, the use of which will emphasize the platform’s desire for the creative development of authors of works and the encouragement of unusual approaches.
The Depositphotos branding update also includes a range of new social media animations, email and banner layouts, and more. According to Depositphotos, the new identity reflects the transition of the project to a new stage of development, which will certainly be noticed by all users who are waiting for pleasant changes in communications with the photo stock.
