The new model will be on sale closer to the end of 2023.
British brand JW Anderson presented a collabration with the label of the famous Wellipets rubber boots.
A teaser published by the brand's creative director, Jonathan Anderson, shows a reimagined "willipets," shortened to the ankle but retaining the signature toe shape.
Wellipets, founded in 1983, was the first to combine the classic rain rubber boots with a playful frog-like element. They were worn as children by Princes William and Harry and later by the whole world.
Today, frog wellies are made in Italy. The boots have a water-repellent surface and an insole made with a mixture of recycled wool and recycled polyester. The "frog" details of the shoes are traditionally hand-painted. Details of the new collab and the possible cost of the new model from JW Anderson x Wellipets have not yet been disclosed. Presumably, the new model will be on sale closer to the end of 2023.
