PepsiCo has launched an online store featuring clothes and accessories from fashion brands.
The site was named House of PepsiCo. On it, visitors will be offered clothing and accessories from brands that PepsiCo considers close to itself in spirit. The company's actions are aimed at becoming a lifestyle brand.
On the site, visitors are offered products from Forever 21, DSquared2 and a line of Mandarina Duck Pepsi branded accessories. Collections created in collaboration with Puma, Collette, Bloomingdale's and renowned designer Alexander Wang are presented. There you can also find things created specifically for PepsiCo own brands Mountain Dew, Cheetos and Pepsi.
It is expected that all this will increase the recognition of the company's brands. But PepsiCo's plans are not limited to this. Company executives have set a goal of reaching $2 billion in online sales. And the expansion of cooperation with other brands promises to be not only commercially successful, but also to attract the attention of fans. The House of PepsiCo website will be the main vehicle for this ambitious plan.
Recently, the desire to become a lifestyle brand has been especially noticeable among fast food representatives. For example, Taco Bell has teamed up with Forever 21 to offer branded tops, bodysuits, tracksuits and jackets; KFC opened an online store where you can buy clothes in the style of Colonel Sanders; McDonald's introduced a collection of casual wear that allows consumers to show their love for the fast food chain.
