Owned by French fashion giant Kering, fashion house Balenciaga has unveiled the first ever luxury trash bag. We are talking about packages created by the designers of the luxury brand from calfskin.
Unusual trash bags that have caught the attention of the fashion community are included in the new Balenciaga Fall-Winter 2022 collection, joining other items of clothing and accessories with unconventional designs. For the first time the thing was presented on the catwalk in March.
“I couldn’t miss an opportunity to make the most expensive trash bag in the world, because who doesn’t love a fashion scandal?” Demna Gvasalia, creative director of Balenciaga, commented.
The collection includes garbage bags made in blue, black, yellow and white. The logos of the fashion house with the inscription "Balenciaga - Paris - Made in Italy" adorn the bags on the front side. The item is currently on sale. The world's most expensive trash bags can be purchased online at Balenciaga for $1,790 each.
