The new model boasts a black carbon fiber case, sapphire crystal and a bright red dial.
G-Shock, a brand of shock-resistant and waterproof watches produced by the Japanese company Casio, has introduced a luxury model MT-G. The chronometer is released in a completely new base made of carbon fiber, with a black mirror case and a special anti-reflective coating that provides maximum protection against scratches and mechanical damage.
Crafted with G-Shock Tough Triple G Resist technology, the watch combines sophisticated style with the brand's signature durability and strength, according to an official press release from the company. The new model boasts a sapphire crystal and bright red dial for a stylish take on everyday looks.
Technically, the watch has some of the latest G-Shock features, including Bluetooth connectivity, two-way time sync, and self-charging. Like other models in the manufacturer's lineup, the new MT-G is water resistant up to 200 meters and features a dual dial, fully automatic calendar and LED backlight.
The cost of the new G-Shock watch model will be $1,100. The timepiece is expected to be available through G-Shock's online store, the company's flagship monostore in New York, and, on a limited basis, through multi-brand retailers.
