Guests can expect a "chicken concierge" with free delivery, "Sundermobile" and other bright details - for 111 pounds per day.
Fast food giant KFC has announced plans to open a pop-up hotel for fried chicken fans. "House of Harland" will operate in London for 11 days - from 18 to 29 August.
“11” is the iconic number for KFC, symbolizing the eleven herbs and spices included in the original chicken recipe. "Harland" is a reference to the brand's iconic character Harland David Sanders.
“Expect to see chicken feet in detail, from bedding to wallpaper, towels and a slot machine – fried chicken is never far from your thoughts,” KFC commented on the upcoming opening.
At a cost of 11,300 rubles per day (in the original - 111 pounds sterling), guests are guaranteed the possibility of free delivery of signature dishes from Colonel Sanders in the amount of up to 100 pounds. The limit, according to the author of the project, is set only to “prevent excessive consumption” of a favorite product.
But the main “chip” of the institution will be a special red button in each of the rooms - for express delivery, one press of it will be enough. The authors of the project call the “press for chicken” button a kind of “chicken concierge”.
Another striking detail of the temporary hotel will be the so-called "colonelmobile" - a black Cadillac that will pick up guests and deliver them to the hotel before personal registration.
Hotels.com booking service will accept bookings for hotel double rooms from 11 August. You can book, according to the rules of the program, only one night. At the same time, six of the eleven nights have already been reserved for special guests, and one more for the winner of the KFC competition. The funds raised from the campaign will be directed to the KFC fund.
