Positions Nokia keep getting worse. And if until quite recently its position seemed unshakable, today forecasts are already being made, according to which the Finnish company is actually declared the leader of yesterday.
According to research conducted by an analytical company IDC, Nokia will lose its leadership by the end of this year. At least in Western Europe. In the current quarter alone, the company's sales fell by 9% compared to the same period last year. And they keep falling. Consumers are extremely dissatisfied with the quality of products, their technical capabilities. Many are beginning to turn their eyes towards other companies - Samsung, HTC и Apple, which are able to offer more interesting technological solutions. Their sales are growing rapidly. Nokia gradually transforms from a technology company into a manufacturer of budget models.
Analysts from IDC already tipped for leadership Samsung, which lags behind the Finns by only a few percent. True, in this case, we mean sales in general. As for smartphones, the positions Nokia still quite strong in percentage terms. However, we can observe a decline here as well - from 57 percent to 41 percent over the past year.
