Orbital Assembly Corporation said it plans to start building a luxury hotel in space as early as 2025.
Staying in a Voyager hotel room can be the dream of space travel for many people, even if it can only be in low Earth orbit. In any case, visitors are waiting for an unforgettable experience. And this can happen in the very near future - in 2027.
Orbital Assembly Corporation positions itself as the world's first builder of large space structures. The project she presented seemed to have descended from the pages of a science fiction novel. This is an impressive building, most of all reminiscent of a Ferris wheel. This design is not accidental - constant rotation will provide artificial gravity, hotel visitors will not have to “flounder” all the time in zero gravity, which means a safer and more comfortable stay.
The hotel will not only have rooms, but also a number of additional amenities, including a cinema, a spa and wellness center, a gym, several restaurants and concert venues and bars with views of the Earth. In other words, Voyager visitors are guaranteed an unforgettable experience.
Now Orbital Assembly Corporation is busy raising funds and looking for investors for their extremely unusual project. Anyone can participate in the financing of the project - all participants will subsequently receive a share of the proceeds. The company also plans to offer the hotel as a training ground for future lunar missions.
