At the beginning of the new year, Saint Laurent introduced a luxurious bag in the shape of a box in which food couriers make deliveries.
The appearance of such an eclectic accessory in the collection of the luxury fashion house is not accidental. The world entered 2023 with a cost-of-living crisis and consumers' desire to save money, including switching to delivery instead of going to physical restaurants.
The box bag is available in two colors - black and gold-brown. Both models feature a monochromatic YSL pattern engraved over the leather. The design is complemented by metal embellishments on the bag's top panel. At $5,850, the box bag is made of calfskin and has suede inserts with branded leather patches.
