Launch of the new MI CC help Xiaomi structure all manufactured smartphones. Redmi will become an independent brand under which it will continue to release high-performance models, such as the recently released K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Phones of the MI CC line will be leaders in photo quality, including for taking selfies. To achieve maximum photo quality, special cloud processing algorithms developed by Xiaomi x Meitu AI Beauty Lab were used.
The MI CC phone series is being launched by Xiaomi in partnership with Meitu, a popular selfie app for girls. The founders of the Meitu app were bought by Xiaomi last year for $3.5 million. This allowed Xiaomi to expand its customer base among the female and fashion audience. Thanks to the acquisition of Meitu, Xiaomi has become available in the markets of 80 countries, and in 40 of them the application is in the Top 5.
