The Chinese company Huawei is committed to launching the music streaming service Huawei Music in Russia following the example of Apple Music, Yandex.Music and Google Play.
Huawei is currently negotiating with international music companies that sell albums and individual songs by artists. The new service on the Huawei Cloud platform is expected to be launched in Russia before the end of 2019. It will be possible to purchase a monthly subscription to Huawei Music at a price that will not exceed the subscription to Apple Music or Google Play.
As of the beginning of 2019 Huawei has more than 500 racks in Moscow data centers installed for data localization. The company entered the cloud services market in Russia by investing several tens of millions of dollars. In 2019, the corporation plans to increase the number of retail outlets in Russia. In addition, the company plans to launch its own payment system.
The day before, it also became known that Huawei officially presented two new models of flagship smartphones - Huawei P30 with a screen diagonal of 6.1 inches and Huawei P30 Pro with a diagonal of 6.47 inches. In the Russian market, the official release of new smartphones is scheduled for April 2, 2019.
In July 2019, the Chinese brand is preparing to launch its first "smart" glasses on the market, which, according to the engineers, will have to replace the headphones. The new device will be equipped with speakers, a microphone, an antenna and a separate battery. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Korean brand Gentle Monster.
