Lifestyle brand MUJI has teamed up with Honda to create a new and exceptional electric bike model called the MS01.
When creating the e-bike, the team took inspiration from the MUJI H-type bike, which features a clean, simple and ergonomic design.
MS01 received 17-inch wheels, keyless entry, an LCD panel, as well as an aluminum alloy steering wheel, LED front and rear lights.
The manufacturer guarantees that with daily use, the electric bike will need to be charged only twice a week. Inside the MS01 is a 400W motor and a 48V lithium battery.
The maximum speed of the electric bike reaches 25 km/h, and the range is 65 km. The electric bike is already on sale through the WeChat “MUJI Travel” app. A total of 5,000 copies will be released, and the MS01 will retail for about $750.
This is not the first work in this direction for MUJI. In 2019, Japanese designers, together with the Finnish technology company Sensible 4, created the Gacha bus, which can move independently on narrow paths in all weather conditions.
