Walmart is resurrecting American fashion brand Scoop as its own fashion brand.
American retailer Walmart has announced the revival of the Scoop fashion brand, originally launched in 1996 as its own fashion brand. In a new take on the brand, Scoop offers a collection of over 100 styles inspired by the latest trends, with a focus on accessibility and a wide size range. Prices for the brand's products range from $15 for a T-shirt to $65 for an elongated coat.
Walmart is bringing back the Scoop brand to the market in partnership with its co-founder, designer Stephanie Greenfield, to be able to sell items that are more fashionable than the usual collections in their own stores. Thus, the company hopes to strengthen its image of a “fashion shopping place”, paying attention to both stylish and affordable things.
Walmart notes that sales of Scoop-branded clothing allow customers to offer items with high attention to detail, which traditionally cost significantly more. We are talking about the use of certified vegan leather and faux fur, or unique denim in the collections, as well as the emphasis on quality finishes typical of more expensive brands.
“We have worked hard to ensure that Scoop retains its original vision of offering shoppers the very best in fashion and enabling customers to create a complete wardrobe every season,” the company said. Currently, all collections of the brand are already available for online ordering on the Walmart website. Scoop clothing supplies to favorites Walmart locations will start at the beginning of 2020.
