Collaboration celebrates “urban glamour, resilience and eclecticism in a vibrant urban community”
Jimmy Choo and Timberland have teamed up to present a new collection in the spirit of modern New York. The brand's new collaboration fuses Timberland's iconic Original Yellow Boot silhouette with Jimmy Choo's signature aesthetic.
The collaboration with the brand began back in 2020, when a collection with crystallized classic Timberland boots was released. For the new capsule, the companies have partnered with local agency Harlem's Fashion Row, which supports black and Hispanic designers and artists.
Timberland noted that the collaboration "celebrates urban glamour, resilience and the eclecticism of a vibrant urban community" and is a tribute to "New York's staple, the Timberland boots."
The Jimmy Choo x Timberland line features seven styles for men and women that completely redefine the idea of workwear. Models developed included pink boots with transparent soles, classic nubuck shoes with a Swarovski crystal graffiti logo and a special version of the heeled boot, also embellished with crystals.
The campaign is backed by local musicians Justin Skye and P'erre Bourne, who have starred in new looks on the rooftops of New York City. The new Jimmy Choo x Timberland collection has launched in select brand stores around the world, as well as on the Jimmy Choo website.
