An collaboration combines the world of powerful motors with the fashion industry.
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled an unusual collaboration with luxury fashion brand Moncler, unveiling the reimagined G-Wagon SUV during London Fashion Week.
The collaboration is part of Moncler's 'The Art of Genius' show and a striking example of the unusual partnership that brought the world of motors and down jackets together.

In partnership with Moncler, the German automaker has reimagined the classic silhouette of the G-Class. Work on the project took more than a year. The SUV has a reflective, glossy body shaped like the fashion label's down jackets. At the rear of the car, a molding detail decorated with the fashion house's logo is prominent. The SUV weighs 2.5 tonnes in this form.

Mercedes-Benz described the new G-Class as a work of art that showcases the "strong geometry of the G-Class combined with the organic shapes of Moncler fluffers". The company also noted that such collaborations allow it to reveal new themes in the automotive industry and attract new audiences outside of it. The brand plans to present the following fashion collaborations in Madrid, Prague, Tbilisi and Mexico City, among others.
