The writing tool draws inspiration from sports car design.
German luxury goods manufacturer Montblanc has again teamed up with Ferrari to create the Stilema SP3 luxury pen. It takes inspiration from the silhouette of the Icona sports car and costs $27500.
Stilema SP3 is made of titanium and features clean, flexible lines that reference the body of the latest Ferrari car. The paddle tail of the handle recalls the bumper design of a sports car.
"The Montblanc Ferrari Stilema SP3 Limited Edition 599, inspired by the stunning lines of the #FerrariDaytonaSP3, redefines the shape of the writing instrument. It combines the identity of Ferrari and @Montblanc, embodying the philosophy of the two companies in the exquisite craftsmanship," the press release notes.
The Stilema SP3 pen, with its unique branding, is made of pure white gold. And the ink comes from a specially designed filling system inside the instrument.
The design of the writing instrument is completed by the Daytona SP3's beveled nose-like cap. The pen will be available in a limited edition of 599 copies. A purchase request can be made on the official Montblanc website right now.
