Company Nintendo threatened legal action against a Pokémon fan site (http://pokebeach.com). The reason is copyright. The noise was raised because of the game Pokémon Black & White, the screenshots of which were published by the resource a few days before its release.

The very same game today has already appeared on sale and immediately sold millions of copies. Where exactly the screenshots of the game came from is unknown, but the company seems to be more concerned about the fact that they were posted on public display. Nintendo noted that although the resource has done a lot of useful things in promoting games about Pokemon, she does not intend to tolerate infringement on her copyrights and the matter may go to court.
Now the resource is obliged to remove all information that the company considers infringing copyright. That's just surprising such an attitude to the resource, which, in fact, makes free advertising of the company and its products. Or Nintendo Worried that after seeing screenshots of a new game, many users will refuse to purchase it?
