Changes have taken place again in the "big five" mobile phone manufacturers. This time it's very revealing. The fact is that a Chinese company managed to get into this list. ZTE. This was reported by the analytical company IDC.
Still in the lead Nokia. True, the Finnish manufacturer managed to lose almost 10% of the market over the past year (despite the fact that Nokia modestly informs only about 2%). According to IDC, the Finns smoothly lowered the bar from 37.2% to 30.8%, despite the fact that the number of devices sold increased.
Second place holds Samsung with its 20.1% market. Share LG noticeably more modest - 7.6%.
But in fourth place, unexpectedly for many, was the Chinese ZTE, which even managed to push a little Apple - 4.2% and 4%, respectively.
The remaining 33.2% of the market was divided between the rest of the participants.
It is not difficult to assume that in the next couple of years we will be able to repeatedly observe such unexpected changes. And most likely, by the time everything stabilizes, the picture that opens up will be very curious. According to many experts, it will be the hardest Nokia, which has already ceased to be the trendsetter of "mobile fashion", and now risks losing its leadership also in quantitative terms.
