Media giant Warner Bros. announced its intention to open its first themed hotel in the world in 2021.
The eight-story building will be located next to a state-of-the-art indoor theme park Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi, which opened last year and has become extremely popular. The intention was previously announced to open a themed restaurant featuring Warner DC Comics characters such as Batman and Superman in London, so the themed hotel was the logical next step.
The hotel will receive the uncomplicated name WB Abu Dhabi. This massive metal and glass structure will house 250 comfortable rooms, several restaurants, a spa, a shaded rooftop pool, and a function room. All of these spaces will feature recognizable motifs from Looney Tunes, DC Comics, and more.
But most importantly, the hotel will be located next to Warner Bros. World, which is considered the largest theme park in the Middle East. In addition, it is the most innovative - visitors can expect a wide variety of attractions built using the latest technology. Just minutes from Warner Bros. World is a huge water park, a large shopping center, the Ferrari World theme park with the world's fastest roller coaster, as well as a track Formula 1. With such a neighborhood, the hotel obviously will not stand empty.
The hotel will cost a total of $112 million and is expected to be built by Miral Asset Management, a local development company that holds the license to build Warner parks in the region.
