The new model will go on sale in the coming weeks.
adidas has unveiled a new collaboration with Disney. The partnership created a “furry” version of the famous Campus 80 silhouette, dedicated to the Cheshire Cat.
For adidas, this is far from the first work using famous animated characters. Previously, the sports giant teamed up with South Park and also unveiled an experimental silhouette with Japanese concept store Dayz.
As for the new model, created in collaboration with Disney, the designers took inspiration from the image of a fictional cat from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
Called the Campus "Cheshire Cat" sneaker, comes in “Semi Solar Pink,” “Glory Purple,” and “Cream White” color scheme to match the image of the cat in the striped suit.
The sneakers are embellished with "wool" all around and include text notes on the inner lining. The design is completed with the logos of both brands, located on the insole, tags and branded packaging. The new model will be available online and at select adidas retailers in the coming weeks.
