The sportswear line features graffiti-style designs that stand out from the basics.
UNIQLO's Sport Utility Wear line has been reimagined as a result of the brand's collaboration with famed New York graffiti artist Futura. This is the second collaboration UNIQLO and artist brand Futura Laboratories. This time the prints of the Atoms series ("Atoms") - unusual combinations of lines and geometric elements, characteristic of the Futura style - were in the spotlight.
The Futura x UNIQLO collection consists of the simplest and most basic pieces for sports and active lifestyle lovers. These are neutral color t-shirts, t-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, caps and towels. Women's clothing is also on display, marking the launch of Futura's first womenswear collection.
And the highlight of the new line was the recognizable outlines of curls and broken lines of the Atoms series from the legendary street artist. Against the background of simple silhouettes and soft tones of clothing, the drawings immediately attract attention and look especially stylish.
The Sport Utility Wear range uses the latest technology to enhance breathability. In particular, DRY-EX and AIRism UV Protection technologies were used, thanks to which air passes freely through the layers of fabric, and the athlete sweats and overheats less in these clothes.
The new Futura x UNIQLO collection will be available on the UNIQLO website and in physical stores. It will go on sale at the end of May. The approximate cost of the items is - $14.90 for a towel, $19.90 for a T-shirt or cap, $24.90 for shorts and $29.90 for a polo shirt.
