H&M Home has teamed up with Berlin-based jewelry brand Uncommon Matters to create an unusual collection of home goods inspired by minimalist jewelry.
An eye-catching collection consisting of jewelry-shaped pieces was released specifically in anticipation of the New Year holidays. The line includes candlesticks, vases, boxes and accessory stands.
The collection combines the aesthetics of the Uncommon Matters brand with the design thinking of H&M Home. In a joint press release, the companies state that the items created in the collaboration could make ideal gifts for the upcoming season.
"Uncommon Matters is an architecture that can be worn, gracefully adorning the curves of the body with bold, feminine shapes. The creative partnership with H&M Home provided the perfect opportunity to extend this philosophy to the interior as well. The end result is truly jewelry for your home," commented Amelie Rich, founder and designer of Uncommon Matters.
Rich founded her own jewelry brand in 2008. In a collaboration with H&M Home, the designer embodied her signature style to create truly cozy and elegant home objects in a "jewelry" style. The main colors of the collection are pure white, rich yellow, powdery pink as well as red, silver and gold.
"At H&M Home we like to explore new creative collaborations and thought it was interesting to look at the relationship between interior design and jewelry. We found the perfect partner in Uncommon Matters with their bold aesthetic and architectural approach to jewelry design," said H&M Home.
The H&M Home x Uncommon Matters collection is already available for purchase online and in select stores of the Swedish retailer.
