The Pantone Color Institute has named the color of the year for 2020.
Classic Blue - the color of jeans, blueberries and the sky at dusk - has been named the main color of the upcoming 2020 according to the American research center Pantone Color Institute. According to the published report, "classic blue" was recognized by experts as calming and timeless.

According to Pantone CEO Leatrice Eisman, the infinite blue reminds a person of "a huge and endless sky" and encourages "to go beyond the ordinary."
As the Pantone report notes, Classic Blue can be "comforting and energizing at the same time, a color meant to serve as a balm in a time of global uncertainty."
