The concept is a continuation of the eco-friendly initiative of Adidas Originals, which relaunched the iconic model.
Russian online retailer Lamoda, Adidas and the British Higher School of Design have created a new sustainable line of fashion looks using the iconic Stan Smith sneakers and clothes from the Lamoda Planet section.
The concept is a continuation of the eco-friendly initiative Adidas Originals launched in January 2021 with the relaunch of the Stan Smith line. The sports giant has released an eco-friendly version of the iconic model using recycled materials. In a new reading, Stan Smith received an unusual texture with images of the planet, flowers and arrows.

This spring Lamoda and Adidas, in a continuation of the eco-project, have announced a collaboration with British young stylists to create vibrant and dynamic looks with iconic sneakers and sustainable clothing from various brands.
“Such “environmental friendliness” is expected: the most popular model of our time could not pass by sustainable development and one of the main global trends today,” Lamoda commented.
As part of the project, twenty young stylists from the design school created looks - sporty, with an emphasis on accessories or paired with sneakers and a suit. The images collected by the project participants were presented on a special marketplace page, where you can also find new Stan Smith Adidas Originals eco-models.
The Adidas Stan Smith line was first launched in 1965 as a tennis shoe and was originally called the Adidas Robert Haillet before being renamed after American tennis player Stan Smith in 1978. The model is distinguished by a white leather upper and a minimalist design, as well as the absence of three stripes and the emblem on the heel and tongue. Since the creation of the first pair, the model has undergone minimal changes.
