As it became known from the official statement Mars Inc., the company plans to phase out large versions of its popular candy bars soon Snickers и Twix. Only those chocolates whose weight does not exceed 250 calories will remain on sale.
Large bars will completely disappear from store shelves around the world by the end of this year. This will be done as part of increasing the nutritional value of products. The fact is that large chocolate bars contain up to 540 calories. And this figure was considered excessively large.
But with Snickers и Twix is still just getting started. In the future, the company plans to completely recycle its entire range of food products. The changes will also affect brands such as M&M's, Dove, milky way, Mars and many others. According to the announced plans, it is planned to do all this before the end of 2013.
