IKEA Kreativ invites customers to explore products in 50 inspirational 3D showrooms.
IKEA will officially unveil its new IKEA Kreativ mobile app, designed with the latest AR-technology capabilities.
The furniture giant is opening up new possibilities for its customers to combine furniture in various living spaces based on a 3D showroom model.
The company calls the new product a combination of “a decade of experience with the latest advances in spatial computing, machine learning and mixed 3D reality technologies.”
With the IKEA Kreativ app, shoppers have access to 50 inspiring spaces where furniture can be placed, rotated, rearranged, and furnishings laid out.
The special IKEA Kreative Scene Scanner with LiDAR support allows you to create realistic virtual copies of living spaces with accurate dimensions and perspective. After creating a virtual space, users are invited to add products from the interior to the basket, as well as share projects with friends and family.
“We’re working hard to help people imagine a better life at home, by fusing real technology advancements with fun and magical user experiences,” commented Brian Totti, CEO and Founder of Geomagical Labs.
IKEA Kreativ application will be first launched for iOS customers in the United States, and from 2023 it is expected to be launched in Android and other international markets.
