A few hours before the official opening, it was announced on Twitter that the establishment would accept ETH (Ethereum) as payment, but also $APE (ApeCoin). Thus, the restaurant became the first in the world to start accepting $APE.

By opening the restaurant, the businessman who owns the Bored Ape Yacht Club aims to show the community how NFT's marketing potential can be reflected in the real world.
It is reported that privileges will be open to NFT holders: for example, verified BAYC holders will receive a free set meal at the restaurant, and MAYC holders can count on free burgers.
