Items from the Lime Glam line are now available on both the social network and the Zara online store.
Zara, a brand controlled by Spanish fashion giant Inditex Group, announced the release of a limited-edition "Lime Glam" capsule collection on the popular social network Zepeto.
The collection is intended to be worn in the real world as well as for use in the meta universe. Zepeto users will presumably be able to buy items from Lime Glam to decorate their own avatars.
The collection includes a variety of closet items, including jumpsuits, jackets and jeans, as well as accessories and makeup products. The collection is also complemented by three virtual objects - a wall, a floor and a photo booth, writes Retail in Asia.
"This project reflects a new way of thinking, a community that seeks to push boundaries and embrace its unique identity and personality," commented the Zara press office.
The Spanish brand first entered the meta universe back in 2021, when the "AZ" collection was created in partnership with South Korean label Ader Error - it was also presented on Zepeto. Items from "Lime Glam" are now available for purchase on both the social network and Zara's online store.
Zepeto is a popular mobile app and online game by South Korean developer SNOW. In the social network, users interact by posing as virtual avatars created from real photos using facial recognition technology.
