The Audi E-Tron combines a stylish electric scooter with a skateboard.
Car enthusiasts know that Audi has been working on the E-Tron electric car for quite some time now. And while it is under development, the German automaker has decided to release another electric vehicle. This is the brand's first electric four-wheel scooter, also called the E-Tron.
The E-Tron can be described as an electric scooter combined with a skateboard that has four wheels instead of two. Similar scooters can be found in services Lime, Bird or Skip. In terms of performance, the maximum speed of the E-Tron scooter can reach 20 kilometers per hour, the maximum mileage is also 20 kilometers. This is not very much for modern electric vehicles. The gadget weighs about 12 kilograms and is equipped with a battery built into the steering with a charge indicator. Acceleration is achieved by turning the handle, like on a motorcycle, and for braking, simply turn it in the opposite direction. For safety reasons, front and rear lights were installed, including brake lights at the rear of the machine. As a next step for the E-Tron scooter, Audi announced about plans to develop an application for connecting a scooter to a mobile phone via Bluetooth.
The E-Tron scooter will be available in 2020 for about 2,000 euros, or about 2,240 US dollars. Perhaps it will be a useful gadget for fans of the brand and those who are interested in the new electric Audi and do not want to wait until the E-Tron concept becomes a reality.
